Mosquito

Although mosquitoes are small insects that are generally annoying, they pose a serious health risk because of the diseases they carry. Millions of people around the world die each year from mosquito-borne diseases.

These insects can balance while flying thanks to special structures on their bodies. Female mosquitoes, in particular, use their long, sharp mouthparts to pierce the skin and reach the bloodstream. In addition, mosquitoes have feathers or scales on their wings, legs and other parts of their bodies. Beyond their harmful effects, mosquitoes also play an important role in the balance of the ecosystem in nature, but they pose a serious threat to public health due to the viruses and bacteria they carry.
