Flea
Fleas are small, wingless parasitic insects that typically live on domestic or wild animals.
They have dark-colored bodies and can move quickly through animal fur thanks to their remarkable jumping ability. These blood-feeding pests are known to carry diseases that can cause infections and pose serious health risks to both animals and humans.
Fleas have exceptionally strong legs, allowing them to jump long distances and move easily between hosts or locations. Using their sharp mouthparts, they pierce the skin of their host to feed on blood.
Flea larvae are dirty white in color, larger and more slender than adults, which enables them to navigate easily through fur, bedding, or other narrow spaces.
