Litter Bug

Litter Bugs (Tenebrionidae family) are a pest that is frequently encountered, especially in poultry environments. These insects found in chicken coops can multiply rapidly by feeding on organic waste, feed waste and feces. Litter Bugs not only cause feed loss, but can also pose health risks as carriers of diseases such as salmonella. They can also cause economic losses by damaging insulation materials when nesting in poultry structures.

In the fight against this pest, regular cleaning, ensuring appropriate humidity and temperature conditions, and using biological and chemical control methods in an integrated manner are of great importance. Litter Bug control is a critical step in both protecting the health of poultry and increasing production efficiency.
