Ant
Ants are one of the most common and social insects in the world.
Ants are usually 3 mm to 2,5 cm long and can be shades of red, black, brown and yellow. Their bodies consist of three main parts: head, body and abdomen.
Ants are known for their strong jaw structures and prominent antennae. They usually prefer to live in groups and many individuals are found together in colonies. Although they play an important role for the environment, they can cause health problems by contaminating food in homes.
Additionally, some species of ants can wreak havoc on structures, especially wooden ones. Despite their small size, ants form very large colonies and are complexly organized, making them difficult to control effectively. Pest control professionals are developing and implementing new strategies to better manage these insects.
